Getaway Rules and Guidelines - What's Covered:

General Safety and Respect

  • Campfires: Never leave a campfire unattended.
  • Food and Trash: Do not leave food or trash outside.
  • Noise: Avoid playing music outside your cabin and keep noise levels down (no yelling or unnecessary noise).
  • Penalties: Violations may result in a $100 charge, donated to local conservation groups.

RVs and Vehicles

  • No RVs: Our cabin pads are not designed for RVs (Class A Diesel Motorhomes, Class A Gas Motorhomes, Class C Motorhomes) or the following towable vehicles (Fifth Wheel Campers, Toy Haulers, Travel Trailers, pop-up campers, airstreams, truck campers, tear-drop trailers, LSVs or golf carts).

Tents

  • No Tents: We kindly ask that guests do not set up tents at our Outpost to help preserve the solitude and seclusion for your neighbors.

Smoking

  • Smoking Restrictions: No smoking (including e-cigarettes) inside cabins. Smoking is allowed 25 feet away from buildings.
  • Clean Up: Dispose of cigarette butts properly. Litter is not permitted on the land.
  • Penalties: $150 fine per night if the cabin is rendered unoccupiable due to smoking.

Drones

  • No Drones: Drones are not allowed on Getaway properties.

Pets

  • Pet Policy: Only dogs are allowed. No other pets (cats, birds, reptiles, etc.) are allowed in the cabins.

Weapons

  • No Weapons: Weapons of any kind (including, but not limited to: standard firearms, air guns, deterrent devices such as tasers or pepper spray, ammunition of any kind, and imitation firearms, etc.) are prohibited on Getaway property.
  • Penalties: Violation of these terms results in a banned account, banned access to future bookings, and a fee equivalent to the nightly rate, at minimum.

Alcohol and Substances

  • Legal Drinking: No illegal substances or underage drinking permitted at the Getaway cabins or on Getaway property.
  • Violations: Getaway will not be held responsible for underage drinking, and violations result in immediate expulsion from the Getaway premises without refund and possible law enforcement involvement.

These rules are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. We appreciate your cooperation.
